The environmentalists are beating the "global warming" drums. TV specials on "global warming" and the "greenhouse effect" are going strong. Newspapers and periodicals push the propaganda. Big name movie stars are adding their names to give credence to the program (as if movie stars are credible). The push is on! Their agenda is to sensitize the American public and program their thinking to accept international environmental control. In 1997 the Gore/Green Peace people played their trump card at the international environmentalist convention at Kyoto, Japan. A comphrensive plan for global control of the environment was sent from there to the U.S. government for passing into law. The Senate unanimously rejected it and sided with big developers from whence comes great funding.

It was a setback, but they haven't given up. Far from it. Propaganda is being polished to have eye appeal-no logic, but plenty of eye appeal.

When I was in grammar school the offical stand was that Earth was heading toward another ice age. That was in the 50's. Now, they tell us Earth is getting warmer and all life is in danger. Hmmm Science seems to be subject to alot of change. How much warming do they claim has occured? About one-deg ree Fahrenheit!

Even if that is an accurate measurement (which I doubt).....big deal! Let's see....one degree is supposed to melt the ice caps? Yea, right!

To be fair we should point out that scientists are not at all in agreement on this. The environmentalist groups are creating their own stastics.....which are highly susceptible to manipulation. Politicians know how to make a lot out of nothing...minute amounts can be mathematically (and emotionally) manipulated to appear big. For instance, nuclear fear mongers scare people by measuring radiation in "picocuries" (one-trillionth of a curie). Such measurments are meaningless except for purposes of search and detection. Other than that, one picocurie has no effect whatsoever upon the environment or people. Likewise, one degree Fahreneit means little in a polar environment of 40 degrees below zero. Ice doesn't melt at -39 degrees!!!

Bottom line.......be aware of what they are saying!!!
